Courage to Create
Make room for the work. Let the work make room for others.
I’m raising $5,000 to support a focused month of creative production: six original paintings and up to two additional recorded songs.

Let the Work Keep Working.
This patronage does not end when the six paintings are completed.
Each original painting will also become the source for a limited-edition print series. This gives the collection multiple opportunities to generate resources over time without guaranteeing a particular sales outcome.
As the originals and prints sell, 100% of the net profits will help launch a new faith-rooted cooperative where I will develop emerging creatives who need formation, encouragement, structure, resources, and community to help their work take form and serve the common good.
Patrons make room for the creation.
The creation generates resources.
Those resources make room for others.
Why I Am Doing This
My work is to become creatively flourishing and to lead others into their own creative flourishing.
I cannot teach that only as an idea. I have to practice it by making room for my own work, receiving support, and allowing what I create to serve something larger than me.
This feels especially urgent now. Many of us are experiencing the strain of living with a growing distance between what we believe and how we are actually living. This moment requires more than faith or information. It requires courage—the courage to bring our lives back into alignment and allow what is alive within us to take form.
Every person carries something creative and generative that the world needs. The time to release it is now. We are not only waiting for a better future. In many ways, the future is waiting for us.
My song “Waking Up” is the soundtrack for this season. It asks: What becomes possible when we are no longer governed by fear? What happens when we begin coming alive to our brave future?
I have set a goal of using this creative work—the six original paintings and their limited-edition prints—to raise $20,000 toward the launch of a new faith-rooted cooperative where emerging creatives can receive the formation, structure, resources, and community they need to develop their gifts and contribute to the common good.
This is a goal, not a guaranteed sales outcome. The patron campaign makes the work possible; the sale of the work creates the opportunity to generate resources for what comes next.
